Job Description

Our Graduate Program 

Our goal is to build you up for success. Our 2-year Graduate Program is designed to provide you with comprehensive training and development opportunities. 

You will have the chance to work in a core business unit and explore different areas of our organisation through rotations. 

Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to gain experience in another division, enabling you to broaden your understanding of our operations and develop versatile skills. 

At the end of the program, you will be seamlessly transitioned into a permanent role at AusNet, aligned with your skills, capability, and chosen career pathway.

About the role

As a Graduate Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule. 

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met while maintaining a high standard of quality. 

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your project management skills, gain valuable experience, and grow professionally in a supportive and challenging environment.

What you will deliver

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate project teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans as needed.
  • Conduct project post-mortems to evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support senior project managers in larger, complex projects, gaining exposure to various project management methodologies.
