  • Start Date:  We have a new employee orientation class starting soon
  • Salary range: 85-95k, based on experience & credentials
  • Schedule:  primarily days, with schedule changes and weekend rotations as needed by the center

Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is an inner-city skilled nursing facility (SNF) with 5 floors and an average census of 160+.  We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health (formerly indigent) population.

  • 5 Star Quality measure
  • The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders.
  • Many are able to age in place, and about 25% return to the community.
  • We have several programs encouraging engagement, but the most popular spot in our center is the game room. 
  • The Metra and the Green Line are just a few blocks away

Job Description

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
The ADON will directly assist our DON in reshaping the team, staffing structures and help spearhead the overall change management.  This will involve supervising clinical initiatives, QA, monitoring metrics and above all impacting patient satisfaction. Depending on your skill set, you may be involved with special programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

What we need from you:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in IL
  • 3+ years of experience as an ADON, Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor in a skilled nursing facility
  • Experienced in the areas of staff education and quality measures are a plus
  • Electronic medical records experience (Point Click Care) is helpful
