Salary:  LPN $37/hr + benefits 

Status:  Full Time Overnight/NOC Shift (8 hour shifts)  

Shift:   11:00 pm - 7am, with an every other weekend rotation (Sat/Sun) 

New grads:  Newly licensed nurses are welcome to apply!

A little more about our center:

Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is an inner-city skilled nursing facility (SNF) with 5 floors and an average census of 160+.  We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health (many formerly indigent) population.

  • The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders.
  • Many are able to age in place, and about 25% return to the community.
  • We have several programs encouraging engagement, but the most popular spot in our center is the game room. 
  • We love new grads and work with students from multiple schools/universities in the area.

Job Description

What you will do in this role: 

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be joining a team of nursing professionals dedicated to providing excellent clinical care.  Some have been with us for a long time and can mentor others.  You will help our behavioral health patients reach their clinical goals and work side by side with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

What we need from you:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL
  • Prior floor nurse experience within a skilled nursing facility is helpful
  • New Graduate Nurses are welcome to apply!
  • Electronic medical records experience is helpful (Point Click Care or PCC is ideal)
