Broker Account Executive

Position Summary: 

The Broker Account Executive will promote and sell Truckstop.com products and services to customers in Truckstop.com’s broker persona.  This position will be responsible for up-selling and cross-selling to the Truckstop.com existing customer base and will also act as a trusted advisor and consultant to their set of customers

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Prospect effectively within your geographical territory to source sales opportunities
  • Engage with existing Truckstop.com customers to cross-sell additional products and services
  • Demo products and services virtually for customers to drive education and tailor solutions specific to a customer need
  • Consult with customers to gather information and make product recommendations for their business
  • Effectively manage monthly quota by selling Truckstop.com products and services through a value-based approach
  • Build and maintain strong customer rapport
  • Provide value, teach, tailor, and problem solve with customers
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunity outcomes
  • Report accurately on weekly productivity to provide sales summary and forecasting
  • Must become well-informed about the industry and Truckstop.com’s products and services
  • Manage pipeline and forecast accurately
  • Create and drive strategic sales initiatives to drive consistent achievement of territory quota
  • Territory expert; provide critical information back to leadership in a timely format to adjust in achievement of quota
  • Understand the specific trends, and seasonality that affect your territory
  • Be able to articulate product feedback and recommendations in a professional manner
  • Navigate complex technical situations, and the ability to manage these projects effectively while accurately communicating expectations between integrations teams and customers

Position Requirements: 

  • College degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in carrying and attaining a sales quota
  • Minimum three years' experience in software sales experience, including experience in presenting a sales demonstration to a client, especially via phone,

OTE for this role is $113,000

At Truckstop we are dedicated to creating a workplace that is equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for commission based on meeting monthly targets. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
$70,000$70,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
