As a CT Tech at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you'll be responsible for utilizing CT scanners to produce detailed cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your role includes interpreting physician scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, and positioning patients to ensure accurate imaging. Additionally, you'll be tasked with maintaining patient history documents, performing quality assurance audits, and engaging in continuous professional development to keep your skills updated. To qualify for the CT Tech position at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, complemented by education in cross-sectional anatomy. While one year of work experience as a CT Technologist is preferred, you also need to hold an American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification, current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a state registration as a Radiologic Technologist. A CT Registration is preferred but not mandatory.
