Principal Implementation Consultant

Unmind is the leading workplace wellbeing platform, on a mission to create mentally healthy workplaces where employees can flourish.

Grounded in science and built for enterprise, we drive people-first performance at some of the world’s biggest brands, including Uber, Major League Baseball, NHS, Disney, Standard Chartered, Mediacom and British Airways.

Our services support the whole organisation with data-driven performance insights for leaders, training for managers, wellbeing tools for all employees, as well as access to a global network of accredited mental health practitioners.

Our internal standards are as high as those of our clients. We’re an ambitious VC backed software business on the exhilarating 10-100M phase of our growth journey. It’s hard and rewarding work and we’re determined to be our very best case study along the way.

Unmind believe high performance will hinge on the powerful harmony between our relentless drive for results and creating an environment that elevates our people's wellbeing. This wouldn’t be possible without a dedication to our core values:

  • Be Human

  • Grow Your Mind

  • Innovate at Speed

  • Inspire & Impact

The Role – Principal Implementation Consultant

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as Principle Implementation Consultant and to lead our Implementation Team. Here are a few of the things that will help you figure out if this is the right role for you:

  • Hands on impact: You should have a "no task too big or too small" attitude towards getting things done and are comfortable being super hands on.

  • Passionate about people and processes: you should be comfortable working at both a highly detailed and strategic level with great interpersonal skills, line management and strong stakeholder management, a person who people go to, to help solve problems.

  • Client focussed: One of our company values is Inspire and Impact. We obsess over our customers’ hearts, minds and needs. We seek to understand and serve them, and discover how we can deliver delightful products to drive change for their teams. Because we know the more clients we serve, the more value we create, the closer we will be to achieving our vision.

  • Resilience and determination: Startup life rarely offers the luxury of a steady, predicable, day to day. You need to be agile, think on your feet and to innovate at speed. This is not for everyone. Please don’t interpret that as us not caring about planning, detail and focus - we absolutely do, we just want to get value to our customers as quickly as we can.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • IMPLEMENT - Be the accountable person for the overall project management and success of implementation projects.

  • BUILD great relationships with our clients.

  • CREATE a shared understanding and transparency across all teams involved and, mostly importantly, for the client.

  • INFORM - Become an expert in the Unmind platform and provide technical support to all teams throughout the implementation journey.

  • COLLABORATE - Create and maintain shared documentation and ensure cross-team coordination with all stakeholders updated

Skills and Experience

We encourage you to remove education from your CV upon application as qualifications are not a driving factor in our decision making and we are committed to tackling educational inequality. We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for this position:

  • 12+ years of experience in end to end SaaS delivery of enterprise technology products, including HRIS integrations, SSO setup.

  • Skilled at supporting a commercial pipeline, product roadmap planning and aligning business outcomes with product features.

  • Excellent consulting and relationship skills with proven delivery to global enterprise clients. Proactively managing expectations and identifying opportunities for long term success.

  • Experienced line manager who is passionate about mental health, tech-for-good, and generally improving people’s lives.

  • Drive cross functional collaboration and best practice with internal teams to align client needs with platform capabilities.

  • Find new concepts easy to understand, and show the resourcefulness to keep asking until clarity is achieved.

  • Know your strengths, yet recognise there’s always more to learn from others.
