Surgery Scheduler (Spanish Speaking)

Surgery Schedulers need to schedule patients for appointments with our clinics across the United States!

These are full-time, permanent positions which are open due to growth!

We are located in Northbrook IL.

As a Surgery Scheduler you will assist new and existing patients by helping them schedule appointments to gain access to life changing medical care. While quickly, accurately and efficiently handling calls and answering questions, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Handles inbound and outbound multi-line and multi-language customer care calls
  • Accommodates scheduling needs of existing patients, including scheduling future appointments and addressing schedule changes
  • Makes outgoing confirmation and follow up calls
  • Answers questions from patients and addresses concerns using established scripts and procedures
  • Makes outbound recalls to former patients to re-establish patient care
  • Serves as information desk, including transfer of calls and accepting phone messages
  • Demonstrates knowledge of services, professionalism and outstanding customer service
  • Adheres to established procedures for inter-office communication and other guidelines related to the job and the company
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Hours: 11am-7:30pm, five days per week on-site.

Availability to work Saturdays on occasion. (Saturday's can be worked from home).

Bilingual Required: Fluent in English & Spanish

  • Spanish speakers REQUIRED
  • 2+ year(s) experience in health care environment: Including but not limited to CNA, MA, Patient Advocate, or Medical Office, required.
  • Experience in a call center or office environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational, reporting, data entry, time management, and follow-up skills, required.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Call Center systems.
  • Ability to connect with people, empathize with them and offer viable solutions to their concerns.
  • Ability to use decision trees and script flows required.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines.
  • Experience and ability to manage through rapid and dramatic changes.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Pay Rate: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
