Manager, Social Creative - job 3 of 19

The Manager, Social Creative is part of the Global Content Strategy, Development & Distribution team. This individual will be part of a global team responsible for developing and scaling best-in-class social content on behalf of Visa’s marketing positioning and voice.

 

This individual will combine a design background with deep understanding of social formats and creative storytelling to develop social-first content that aligns with brand and business objectives. This person should have passion and experience in:

  • Concepting and designing “made for social” creative assets for priority social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X.

  • Designing social posts across a wide range of creative styles– from photography to social graphics to in-platform formats (ex: Instagram Stories) – that grab attention in crowded social moments.

  • Partnering with Social Creatives and Social Strategists to dream up and design reactive and always-on content at the intersection of on-trend and on-brand.

  • Moving from initial concept to published content at the speed of social for both high-budget and quick-turn projects.

  • Using knowledge of the creator and content landscape – particularly across Sports, Music, and Travel – to design social assets for maximum engagement and relevance.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Design and concept social content that breaks through on priority platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X.

  • Develop social assets with compelling storylines and clear visual hooks that align with best practices and trends.

  • Design thumbnail images and write titles/descriptions that command attention.

  • Set and model high creative standards, leading through example and inspiring partnership and learning across cross-functional and regional teams.

  • Combine content creation best practices, social platform nuances, and cultural trends into strategic recommendations and creative territories.

  • Partner with a team of Creative, Strategy, Editorial, and Community specialists to translate priority brand campaigns and sponsorships into social-first experiences and extensions.

  • Mine, track, and identify trends from the Visa community that can inform future strategies, franchises and campaigns.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
