Product Analyst, Unified Directory - job 3 of 19

You will step into a pivotal role driving a foundational Visa platform, where innovation and technological advancement are at the forefront of our mission. In this position, you will lead and shape the future of Visa’s unified directory, ensuring continued security and seamless customer experience across all use cases and credential types. The platform service you will be managing touches nearly every Visa cardholder and every Visa client and supports many other core services across Visa internally. This role is critical to position Visa to be the best way to pay in all digital environments. Drawing on strong background working with technical data products, you would work closely with your partners in technology and architecture to do the required research and drive requirements and backlog for the product. 

The ideal candidate will work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, ambiguous work environment, and will have the ability to independently translate high-level guidance into detailed product requirements using a data-driven approach. The role requires an individual who can operate effectively in hands-on environments, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results without constant supervision. Analytical skills, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate efficiently with technology partners are essential. The candidate should understand data products, be able to work with architects and developers to provide detailed product requirements, solve problems creatively, and analyze data to derive insights and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product roadmap and requirements for the Unified Directory: Define a compelling roadmap that enhances credential enrollment and retrieval, improves reliability, and builds critical infrastructure with clear benefits to our end clients and customers
  • Define the requirements for ever evolving data model for Unified Directory
  • Product Delivery: Ensure the Directory is flexible, modular, and future proof to new data elements and experience use case it must serve.
  • Define and track key success metrics for Unified Directory.
  • Summarize data insights that resonates with diverse audiences who may or may not be deep into the details.
  • Work with data governance, legal & privacy teams to understand the contractual data rights for new data sources in each market for the use cases.
  • Work with stakeholders across various geographical regions and Visa product teams to understand their specific needs from the product and provide articulate data insights.
     

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
