Sr. Product Manager, Identity Graph - job 1 of 21

Visa and its subsidiaries maintain Identity, Authorization, and Fraud data across multiple systems developed and acquired over time. These comprehensive datasets, when effectively analyzed using Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, will yield network-agnostic tools to enhance authorization rates for our merchants and partners within the ecosystem. The Identity Graph consolidates these internal datasets along with relevant external data to construct a holistic 360-degree view of all individuals interacting with the ecosystem, thus enabling various use cases in identity-enabled fraud detection. 
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a core Visa platform focused on innovation and technological progress. You will oversee the integration of Identity Graph with Unified Directory, ensuring security and seamless customer experience across various use cases and credential types. The platform service you will manage touches nearly every Visa cardholder and client, supporting many other core services internally. This role is crucial in positioning Visa as the leading digital payment method in all environments. Drawing on your extensive experience in digital payments and product scaling, you will guide strategy and product management. This position reports to Visa’s Senior Director, Identity Solutions.
The ideal candidate will operate with minimal guidance in a fast-paced and ambiguous work environment, translating high-level directives into detailed deliverables independently. We seek a highly motivated individual capable of taking ownership and delivering results without constant supervision. They must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence, effectively communicating the vision and product to both internal stakeholders and external clients. We seek a highly skilled individual – someone who is technically proficient, can architect a new platform, is an innovative problem solver, and work collaboratively with partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the partnership with Unified Directory: Define a compelling roadmap that allows the integration of two critical platforms for identity at Visa, Identity Graph and Unified Directory. 
  • Develop the long-term vision for Identity Graph and set the roadmap to fulfill that vision.
  • Articulate the vision in a way that resonates with diverse audiences, fostering a shared sense of purpose and direction through servant leadership. 
  • Work with data governance, legal & privacy teams to get approvals for new data sources in each market for the use cases.
  • Work with stakeholders across various geographical regions, Visa product teams, and functions (e.g. design, legal) to define requirements and prioritize features
  • Manage and coordinate technology development and integration with internal engineering teams and external partners/vendors
  • Explore new emerging technologies for graph algorithms that could be relevant for the product 
  • Partner with data science teams to build assurance levels and identity resolution algorithms 
  • Collaborate with fellow product managers to develop business case and revenue forecasts for your product
  • Understand the industry landscape, competitors, regulatory requirements that impact your product

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
