Visa has a great toolbox of leading technologies including Cybersource and Authorize.net. Together, we are building leading edge full-service Payment Management solutions combining global payment processing, fraud management and payment security systems.

We are seeking skilled, proactive, and enthusiastic engineers who are passionate about tackling challenges and are adept at problem-solving. As a DevOps Engineer, you will join a team of professionals focused on constructing and maintaining enterprise-level CI/CD pipelines. Your responsibilities will include infrastructure orchestration, reliability engineering, security, access control, monitoring and tool automation. You will stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, reassess architectural decisions, and manage migrations when necessary. We value individuals who are passionate about enhancing processes, reducing inefficiencies in workflows, and enjoy tackling technical challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain, expand, and create automated Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
  • Design, implement, and manage reliable build/deployment systems.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to foster their growth.
  • Use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues, driven by a high level of ownership and curiosity.
  • Collaborate with team members in design reviews, development, and code reviews.
  • Monitor official builds and drive infrastructure issues towards resolution.
  • Write optimized, secure, functional, and scalable code, and fine-tune your results for performance.
  • Strive for quality code production, seeking reviews from senior engineers to ensure standard compliance.
  • Develop unit level test cases in line with domain standards using the provided tools.
  • Provide accurate work estimates, a skill that will be developed on the job.
  • Share knowledge through presentations to the development community and assist others with the knowledge acquired over time.
  • Continually seek opportunities for personal growth and contribute to the development processes' improvement within the organization.
  • Generate creative solutions to solve problems.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
