Your New Role…

Provides executive administrative support to a Senior Vice President of Casting and is a key provider of the daily management of the Casting Department including the external independent contractors staffed to productions.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Answers phone, screens, logs, and places calls

  • Schedules meetings, maintains exec calendar & coordinates travel

  • Maintains and organizes extensive virtual filing systems (project & talent) Assists with the facilitation of cast approvals

  • Onboards casting offices including administering database access and providing training/support for daily database use

  • Drafts contracts for new cast deals in the post-production process, SAG deals for international projects & Schedule F deals

  • Project Coordinator for new cast contracting database (build in progress)

  • Inputs deal request memos for performers and Casting Directors

  • Generates the talent attachment tracking document distributed across WBTV Prepares expense reports

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Previous Executive Admin experience required

  • Previous Casting experience helpful

  • Previous entertainment industry experience helpful

  • College degree preferred

  • Knowledge of PC’s, Macs, MS Office, video editing (iMovie and other platforms)

  • Knowledge of casting software (Castit, Breakdown Services, etc) preferred

  • Must have strong communication and organization skills.

  • Knowledge of TV/Film, actors, agents and managers helpful

Other Requirements

Position supports a high-level Executive with a high volume of coverage and oversight. This position will be managing complicated schedules and many projects simultaneously, therefore the ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter, able to multitask with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. Main duties would include, but not limited to, answering busy phones, coordinating the daily schedules and overall office management. As well as, overseeing the onboarding of independent contractors and acting as their daily liaison for the term of their engagement. Applicants with experience in casting offices and/or agency, management offices will be prioritized. This role is a key forward facing position that interacts daily with producers, network touchpoints, representatives, and talent as such the position must always present as professional and courteous.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,611.00 - $88,421.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
