JOB SUMMARY:

Operate digital x-ray examinations as ordered by the provider and any other duties as assigned by the provider.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate digital x-ray examination as ordered by the provider.
  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Ensure each room is properly cleaned and stocked.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.

SHIFT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Float to WMMC clinics and departments as needed (includes Higginsville).

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Radiology Tech certificate from accredited school.
  • Registry from the ARRT in Radiology required.
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Computer experience.
  • Must work well under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate well with people both in person and on phone.
  • Effectively act as a liaison between patients and providers.
  • Must adhere to HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Medical terminology.
  • Typing skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work within the established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the hospital/clinic.
