Great place to work/gain knowledge/implement your own experience & skill set

2/2/2023 - Program Therapist- Full Time at Los Angeles, CA

Positive outlook
Approves of CEO

Pros

Individual work, easy EHR system, consistent feedback/praise/acknowledgement from management, amazing opportunity for annual compensation incentives/merits, working from home, provided laptop, amazing benefits, management actually listens to/makes changes based on provider/client feedback

Cons

If you're not used to seeing a lot of clients on a regular basis it can maybe feel like a lot to you, and client redirects can sometimes feel like we are refusing care but they have good reasons for their protocols - that's just the therapist heart wanting to help everybody willing to come to therapy

At AbleTo, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is more than just a set of words or initiatives. It’s a part of who we are, from hiring practices to the inclusive design of our products.

We celebrate the distinct perspectives that a rich culture brings since it’s these differences that fuel creativity and innovation.

After all, our patient’s backgrounds are incredibly diverse consisting of a wide range of races, ages, cultures, and more. It’s important that the inside of our [virtual] walls reflect the people that we serve.

To empower our patients to get better and stay better, our team has to be equipped to do the same. And an inclusive workplace is a key component of one’s mental health. By fostering a culture where differences are valued, our team is encouraged to bring their full, authentic selves to work.

As a reflection of this commitment, we’ve created a number of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) where full-time employees are encouraged to foster this inclusive workplace:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility Committee
  • Black Advocacy Alliance (BAA)
  • Empowering Women Leaders in Healthcare
  • Voices of Visibility (VoV)
  • The Wellness Collective
  • Environmental Action Cooperative
  • Fun/Social Planning Committee
