Rapidly growing company that sometimes results in overlapping responsibilities.

In 2020 we formed a new employee group called iBelong.  The origin of this group was a safe space to talk and learn about issues facing our employees relating to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  Creating the group allowed the team to open discuss and talk through issues facing all of us such as racial inquity, bias in the workplace and really building a culture of belonging.  This is an employee group that meets monthly and focuses on a specific topic for discussion, and typically has about 200 people attend.    Topics we have covered are PRIDE, Neurodiversity, Mental Health Awareness, Women's History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History.   We often hae guest speakers present and facilitate the discussion.

Creating, sharing, and affirming community agreements is a way to work on building trust. A community agreement is a set of guidelines for conversation that the full group agrees to in advance. For Ibelong, here is our community agreement:

  • Understand that there is No Quick Fix

HealthEdge also joined the Mass Technology Leadership Council Social Compact which asks companies in the Tech space to make committments to move topics of DE &I forward within their own work culture.

Each new hire is assigned Bias training to help give our teams the language and information to help build a culture that resonates with inclusion, trust and learning. 

In 2023, our US Benefits package was expanded to include some LGBTQ+ resources, such as:
