The job and the end result is consistently inconsistent in your first year. Thick skin and a strong work ethic is required to succeed as you will face a lot of rejection making calls daily, but it just takes one good call to change the course of your day/month/year. Must have a short term memory for good and bad days alike, and have a “next call” mentality. PTO is limited, but management is usually cooperative and accommodating with the policy within reason.
