InTouch Credit Union has proudly served our members since our charter in 1974, originally serving Electronic Data Systems (EDS) employees in the Dallas area. Today our not-for-profit community financial institution has grown to include branches in three states, including our corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas. ITCU now serves approximately 92,000 members across the U.S. as well as more than 20 countries around the world with assets of more than $1 billion. Interview Tips
Any Advice when Interviewing?

Before you Interview
  • Come in with a little knowledge about us. Depending on what you're interviewing for, it would help to be somewhat familiar with our checking account selection. Or loans. Or anything else along those lines. You don't need to memorize our entire products and services catalog, but having a little background knowledge is always helpful.
  • Ask yourself "Are banks and credit unions the same thing?" If you answered "yes," read up on the various differences between banks and credit unions - you'll find while both do a similar function (providing financial assistance), there are plenty of differences beyond just banks having "customers" and credit unions having "members."
  • Always "Dress for Success." If you're coming in for an in-person interview, put your best foot forward... but not if you're wearing sandals.

During your Interview
  • Do you know the STAR method? Situation, Task, Action, Results. If you can tell us about a situation that involved you, a task you accomplished, an action you had to take and the results of your decision, those are all awesome details to let us know!
  • Be prepared for a "Sales Presentation" - Pick a product or service of your choice, and describe the benefits and features, as if the product or service was needed by a member.
  • Stay calm, but stay focused. It's an interview, yes, but it's also a chance to be upbeat and enthusiastic about this opportunity! If you're focused, confident and paying attention, those are all great starts.
After your Interview
  • Before the interview is over, ask any questions you might have - be engaged, be interested and be curious about what it is that makes InTouch Credit Union who we are.
  • Also, don't forget to inquire about the hiring process and the potential "next steps." You may be hearing from us sooner than you thought!
  • When all is said and done, send a follow-up email after the interview, thanking your contact for their time and consideration. A little thanks can sometimes go a long way!
  • But most importantly, be yourself! Whether over-the-phone or in-person, we want to get to know you!
