Pros

If you work inside a Macy’s you get 3% commission. You hardly see commission though it’s only an extra $100 or $200 a month.

Cons

You can’t request certain holidays off. You don’t have much to work around as in schedule. If you’re part time they give you less hours and if you’re full time they over work you. There is no life-work balance. It’s also retail so be prepared to put makeup on everyone looking for a free make over. They don’t pay you to put makeup on people, so expect to do that for free because there is no additional charge and it’s all “ complementary “.
