Field Application Scientist - Japan

10x Genomics is looking for a Field Application Scientist to train and engage with customers to ensure their success using the company's products. This role involves direct communication with customers and supporting their research needs.

Skills

Extensive experience in molecular biology and genomics
Knowledge of NGS workflows and data analysis
Strong written and verbal English skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact between the customer and company
Coordinate and perform customer site trainings and demonstrations
Troubleshoot issues related to user's technical skills and experimental design
Support field sales team at trade shows and technical symposiums

Education

PhD or equivalent experience preferred
BA/BS with approximately 5 years of experience or MS with approximately 3 years of experience in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Genetics
