The 1Password Partner team proactively works to support our partner ecosystem to get the most value in their investment in security and privacy by establishing long term strategic relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. Partners are a core focus for the future growth of 1Password.


Reporting to 1Password’s Head of GTM Partnerships, the Senior Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for owning and driving growth within our MSP channel. You will be responsible for guiding our partners through established best practices by demonstrating an understanding of the needs of their customers and acting as an advocate on their behalf within 1Password. You will develop strong professional relationships with key partners across the MSP channel ecosystem and identify opportunities to create strategic growth plans with your partners and identify programs and strategies that deliver growth for 1Password. 


This is a complex, senior partnerships role that requires an artful balance of sales, program development and relationship management in order to deliver a set of scalable partner centric, revenue generating partnerships.


This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the United States.


What we're looking for:

  • You have been responsible for leading the channel management activities for Managed Service Providers (MSP)
  • You have worked cross functionally to provide insight and prioritization of product roadmaps of new features and functionality based on MSP partners requirements
  • Translate the requirements of initiatives into actionable features that can be delivered in increments
  • Worked with multiple teams to align on strategy and execution, including sales, marketing, business development, product marketing, and customer support
  • Provide required enablement materials, direction, and support to ensure GTM success of MSP partners 
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting and exceeding quotas 
  • 4+ years of experience in channel partner management and/or business development
  • Ability to lead, influence and drive results at all levels 
  • Deep understanding of how to build partnerships from zero to 1 with a customer centric approach combined with a bias towards action
  • You can navigate highly strategic and complex partnerships and drive co-selling with our internal teams with a track record of cross functional coordination and alignment
  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and external resources, conflict resolutions and follow through with partners
  • Possess a network of relationships with channel partners partners to aid in opportunity identification
  • Experience working with channel partners across MSPs, Resellers and/or distributors 
  • Experience in Cybersecurity or SaaS industry is a plus

  • Drive operational excellence: You will demonstrate greatness through creating strategic growth plans, compelling business cases and partner pitches, providing actionable reporting, meeting deadlines and expectations of internal teams and partners, while growing the partners business 
  • Have strong Partner Development experience - you have the vision to identify and drive impactful strategic partner opportunities; you have the experience and confidence to build strategic GTM partnerships that help both 1Password and our partners maximize their revenue opportunities; you have the communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure program success 
  • Drive a Structured and Organized Approach - you’re hyper-organized, and can manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously. Navigating partner contracts, aligning internal processes, building business and financial plans, and engaging cross functional teams for program development are all activities that you’re comfortable managing


USA-based roles only: The Annual salary for this role is between $100,000 USD and $136,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.


Canada-based roles only: The Annual salary for this role is between $99,000 CAD and $133,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.


At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.


We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
