Position description

As the Marketing Program Manager, you’ll support GTM (go-to-market) strategy and activation for a product marketing team focused on a Microsoft 365 product. In this role, you’ll be pivotal in developing content aligned to core initiatives, executing GTM strategy, and serving as a single point of contact for a team of Microsoft PMMs (Product Marketing Managers.)


This role is an Embedded Consultant position, which means you’ll sit directly on a Microsoft team to give hands-on support. This is primarily a remote position with occasional in-person meetings at the Microsoft Redmond office. This hybrid engagement will start immediately and run until June 2025 with the potential for renewal.

 

While you’ll spend most of your days working directly with your team at Microsoft, 2A offers multiple points of connection to support you in your role and career. We’ll meet with you and your manager regularly to see how we can support the engagement, and you’ll have opportunities to engage with 2A through working groups, community-building events, and professional development opportunities.


Activities
  • Project manage two agency-supported Bills of Materials (BOMs). BOMs could include: messaging, customer stories, anthem or demo video, infographics, social assets, web copy, and more. One BOM will be focused on Microsoft first-party solutions, and the second on Microsoft partner (third-party) solutions.
  • Partner with agency consultants to build and oversee the deliverable calendars, prioritize action items, and manage communication
  • Manage the stakeholder review process, serving as a point of contact for internal teams, v-team, partners, and customers
  • Support Microsoft + partner joint solution webinar production; activities could include securing  customer participation, coordinating and scheduling the engagement, post-production, publishing, and promotion
  • Work with Microsoft internal teams to publish and distribute assets
  • Report on success metrics aligned to KPIs, provided data-driven recommendations to improve engagement by asset and/or channel
  • Provide editing and writing support as required


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in program management
  • 3+ years of experience on a marketing team
  • 3+ years of experience at Microsoft
  • Strong writing and editing abilities
  • Comfortable jumping in and working independently


$6,000 - $7,800 a month
Equivalent to ~$70-90/hour

Due to the part-time nature of this position, this engagement is on a 1099 basis and does not include benefits.
