2nd Shift Receiving and Shipping Associate

Position Overview

Shipping, receiving, material handling, assembly, labor reporting, material entry (Data Entry), building containers and packing orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications include: Basic math, reading, communications, forklift truck operations, lifting (50 lbs), trainable in computer usage.

Skills and Experience

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Responsible for operating and monitoring machine(s)
Must become skilled at various production task in order to fill in on an as needed basis
Multi-task and pay attention to details
Must be able to use scales and measurement devices
Must properly and legibly document work performed and measurements.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct supervision
Production experience in background
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules and operating instructions as well as utilize measuring tools on a daily basis.
Understand written and verbal instructions
Clear and effective communication is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.55 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Leeds, AL 35094: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Required)
