Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview
Performs any combination of following tasks in foundry concerned with melting metal, pouring metal into molds, removing castings from molds, dressing castings, moving foundry materials, grinding, and cleaning equipment and work areas: Moves sand, castings, flasks, or other materials about foundry by hand, using wheelbarrow or cart, or by loading them onto conveyor.
Entry Level Positions:
3rd shift - starting pay $17.89, 6 months - $19.22, 12 months - $20.65/hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Requires average math skills, simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in
English
Must have background in a manufacturing environment.
Prior experience operating a forklift is preferred, but not required
Must be physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products
Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies
Must be able to consistently stand for entire shift
Ability to work in a team setting
Must be a team player.
