Our core values: care, courage, curiosity, and collaboration - combined with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities - are key drivers in our aim to empower everyone to create sustainable solutions.Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toGlobal Channel ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Commercial organization and Indirect/third-party Channel Partners during the onboarding and risk assessment processes which are vital to ABB's global sales growth strategy.The work model for the role is: HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division.You will be mainly accountable for:• Manage and Improve Online Application Process: Lead the ongoing enhancement of the online application system, ensuring it fully complies with group directives for the justification, assessment, screening, and approval of channel partner candidates, in strict adherence to local and national laws.• Drive Effective Onboarding: Oversee the fast and efficient onboarding of channel representatives by collaborating closely with commercial teams and channel partners, ensuring all necessary details are gathered for due diligence.• Conduct Due Diligence Reviews: Perform thorough due diligence on all authorized channel partners, including those identified as high-risk, to ensure compliance.• Screenings and Periodic Reviews: Complete comprehensive screenings during the onboarding of new partners and periodic reviews of existing partners. This includes monitoring customers and related parties against negative news, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), sanctions lists, and blacklists.Our team dynamics:You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications For The Role• Bachelor’s degree (Technical discipline preferred) with a minimum of 5 years sales and/or sales operations experience (within the electrical industry preferred).• Possess strong attention to detail, research, analytical and investigation skills using the internet and experience providing due diligence screening tools.• Working knowledge of risk management.• Ability to interact and work closely with business stakeholders and compliance teams.• High-level of computer literacy.• Proven project management skills (Saleforce.com & IT systems experience a plus).• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about usABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas & Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
