Key Responsibilities
Education & Experience
Must have a Master's in Cellular or Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field & 2 yrs of exp as a Scientist:
(i) performing (a) molecular cellular biology techniques in cell culture, (b) western blotting, immunoprecipitation, WES, or ELISA, (c) DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR, separation techniques for primary cells, & (d) gene expression analysis;
(ii) Developing, optimizing, & troubleshooting cell-based assays; &
(iii) communicating scientific rationale, methodology, & results in written & oral formats.
Of exp req'd, must also have 1 yr exp:
(i) manipulating gene/protein expression in cancer cell types (such as transduction of primary cells, siRNA or CRISPR knockdown); &
(ii) Using biological data analysis software tools such as GraphPad Prism & computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
Salary Range: $125,508.24 - $138,500.00 per year.
