Join the North America Accenture Microsoft Business Group as a Data Engineer and Security Specialist on the Microsoft Platform responsible for designing, developing, and securing data solutions across various client environments. You will leverage your expertise in data engineering, compliance, data loss prevention, data classification, data governance, and risk management to help clients optimize their data assets and protect their sensitive information. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure data capabilities, as well as the ability to implement and manage compliance solutions across both platforms.Responsibilities:• Design and develop data solutions using Microsoft 365 and Azure data services, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Purview, and others.• Implement and manage compliance solutions across both Microsoft 365 and Azure capabilities, such as Information Protection, Records Management, Insider Risk Management, Data Lifecycle Management, Sensitive Information Types, Trainable Classifiers, and Administrative Units.• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential data security threats.• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant frameworks.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data protection measures and best practices.• Provide expert guidance on data privacy management and risk mitigation techniques.• Monitor and respond to data security incidents and breaches, implementing corrective actions as needed.• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Purview suite of products and related integrations, addressing customer-facing challenges effectively.Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.What You’ll Need:• Minimum 3+ years of experience in data engineering, compliance, data loss prevention, data classification, data governance, and risk management.• Proficient in the implementation and management of compliance solutions across both Microsoft 365 and Azure capabilities.• Proven experience in data security, risk mitigation, and privacy management.• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)Bonus if you have:• Experience with Microsoft Purview features: Information Protection, Records Management, Insider Risk Management, Data Lifecycle Management, Sensitive Information Types, Trainable Classifiers, Administrative Units.• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Purview suite of products and related integrations, addressing customer-facing challenges effectively.• Familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).• Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric and leading large data migration and modernization projects.• Experience in Healthcare, Retail, Sustainability or Manufacturing.Soft Skills:• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Strong communication and teamwork skills.Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
