Account Executive, Catholic Market

About the Role

The Account Executive, Catholic Market possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and love helping to form new sales and marketing strategies to help grow the Catholic church with world-class technology. You will work closely with the diocese sector of the Catholic church, interacting and building relationships with the executive level leaders of the Diocese. You will also often work closely with the Account Executives that represent the Parishes with that Diocese.

  • Base Salary, $65k-$100k + $65k-$100k variable = $130k-$200k OTE

The following states are approved as remote work locations for this position: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA. All other states are not in consideration for this role at this time. Texas and East Coast states preferred

COS - Hybrid; Seattle / Redmond - Hybrid; Remote applies to out of COS / Seattle

What You'll Do

  • Identify and develop a pipeline of prospective church customers through research, cold-calling, internet and professional networking.
  • You own the sales process.
  • Collaborate and partner with internal Pushpay teams including Sales, Sales Development, Marketing, Implementation and other partner affiliates to execute company initiatives.
  • You will be required to work within a budget for travel and entertainment (dinners, activities, etc.). Track record of over-achieving against sales quota.
  • You will regularly be required to search out and start new endeavors, bringing structure where there is ambiguity.
  • You will be expected to have the ability to connect with all types of people. Executive-level leaders to new hires.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospect to close. This includes product demonstration, negotiating and closing contracts.
  • You are expected to achieve and maintain a high level of activity and prospect daily and experience making 50+ calls per day and send 50+ follow up emails.
  • You will be held accountable to closing new business while cultivating relationships to be used to expand into additional accounts.
  • Be a continuous learner of the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position Pushpay to win.

  • 5+ years of technology sales experience or church growth experience.
  • Deep understanding of the Catholic church and how they make purchase decisions.
  • More than 2 years of working with and closing business with Diocese and parish leaders
  • Ability to travel to prospects as needed with up to 60% of your time spent traveling.
  • Speaking on the phone and in person.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
