Position Summary
This is a temporary senior accountant position that will be responsible for month-end close and timely and accurate financial reporting across the business units.
The role includes detailed activities such as recording journal entries, account reconciliations, and evaluation of new accounting standards.
Additionally, this role will assist with internal and external reporting requirements.
This is a hybrid position that will be in the office 2-3 days per week and will report to the Controller. Essential Job Functions
Perform daily/weekly cash management journal entries
Record journal entries during the month-end close process
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Prepare quarterly and annual reporting/variance analysis reconciliations
Liaison with other groups across the organization (treasury/accounts payable, tax, legal/compliance, financial reporting, and analysis)
Complete ad hoc projects alongside other accounting group members
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the business

• Requirements:Basic Qualifications

• Accounting degree and CPA preferred
• Three to five years of experience (public accounting preferred)
• Detailed oriented, committed to quality and hard work
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products – especially Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and written & verbal presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize projects and multi-task
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under pressure to meet deadlines
• Assertive and proactive attitude toward assignments and in managing business relationships

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $32.79 - $44.60 per hour
