Accounting Assistant

Summary of Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to process AP payments for vendor invoices, associate expense reports and insureds. This includes setting up invoices in Concur and routing to appropriate company associate for submission and approval. Additional responsibilities include taking calls from vendors, voiding checks, processing credit card payments and mailing checks with required remittance. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the completion and submission of various state filings required by regulatory agencies.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Data entry skills
Basic knowledge of personal computers
Oral and Written Communication Skills

Preferred Education and Training

2 year associate degree in Accounting
Completion of General Program in Insurance
