THE JOB / Accounts Payable Coordinator

***The location of this position is in Stamford, CT.

Octagon is looking for someone to join our Accounts Payable team. This role will primarily be responsible for processing rush requests, Travel & Expense reimbursement, and onboarding of new vendors. The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented, organized, have a strong work ethic and, and have worked in a fast-paced environment.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Timely handling of expense reports and resolving deficiency issues
  • Run and maintain expense report log. Follow up on open expense reports
  • Process rush requests daily.
  • Research and process vendor statements, phone calls, and discrepancies
  • On-board new vendors in Range (Range/Ariba is our vendor onboarding system)
  • Research stale dated checks
  • Purchase Order Maintenance and Issue Resolution
  • Code UPS file
  • Code event insurance file
  • Exercise the highest degree of customer service
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
  • Other duties as assigned

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • One or more years of related work experience in a professional service setting with previous Accounts Payables experience
  • SAP and Ariba experience preferred
  • MS Office, organizational, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate with client service staff effectively
  • All applicants will need to provide proof of COVID vaccination or contact the organization’s HR team if eligible for an exemption.

Compensation + Benefits:

The salary for this role is $45,000.
