Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist
BayMark Health Services is looking for an organized and detail oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure all invoices are paid in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Accounts payable specialist will act as a liaison with vendors and site directors to resolve discrepancies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Match invoices to receiving documents.

Match statements to invoices as appropriate, research & resolve discrepancies.

Ensure payment authorization for invoices and check requests.

Ensure proper back-up is provided for invoices/check requests and adhere to company policies.

Code invoices/check requests to correct cost center & expense account.

Enter invoices into payables system, print checks and obtain proper signature(s).

Maintain AP files with paid invoices and associated back-up.

Request vendor set up and W9s.

Process accruals and journal entry postings with high level of accuracy

Excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers

Interpersonal skills that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication, both written and on telephone.

Ability to maintain business and clinical files in a systematic and orderly fashion.

Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

Detailed oriented, with solid basic math skills.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and one or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (5+ Years).

Senior level accounting knowledge (preferred)

Experience with Microsoft Great Plains software (preferred)

Experience with e-Invoicing software (preferred)

Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel-Pivot Tables, V-Lookup)

Ability to handle stressful situations and interact with others.

Must be present during working hours at the office for in person meetings and access to a computer without violating company policy.

Prior Healthcare experience a plus

Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
