Senior Backend Software Engineer - Data Platform
ActionIQ is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend software development and a passion for building and improving high-performance, scalable systems.
Skills
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Golang
- Experience with Spark, Kafka, and stream processing technologies
- Knowledge of container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving skills with large-scale distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code
- Ensure services meet uptime and availability SLAs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features
- Mentor early career engineers
- Design and build fault-tolerant, scalable distributed services
- Optimize systems for performance and scalability
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
