Headquarters are in Camden, New Jersey.Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager V / Plant Controller to own and direct all financial functions for our manufacturing site. This role is a key business partner to the Plant Manager and Staff as well as the broader Supply Chain Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and delivering the annual operating plan, managing all financial and accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.Primary Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis: Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to recommend further courses of action. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and company performance against business plans.Investment Advisory: Advise on investment activities and develop strategies to minimize financial risk and maintain the financial health of the organization.Operational Management: Oversee the operations of the finance department, setting goals and objectives, and designing a framework for their achievement.Budget Management: Manage the preparation of the company’s budget, ensuring that it aligns with strategic goals and business plans.Internal Controls & Compliance: Drive the system of internal controls, ensuring general ledger accounts are correctly stated and classified. Ensure financial reporting complies with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and that the plant remains SOX compliant.Cost-Reduction & Efficiency: Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and lead plant teams toward driving year-over-year productivity improvements.Financial Leadership: Provide financial leadership on all aspects of plant supply chain management. Effectively communicate financial risks and opportunities to plant management and corporate.Strategic Planning: Participate as a key business partner to the Plant Management team, contributing to plant strategy development and execution of annual plans that drive year-over-year improvements.Mentorship & Guidance: Provide guidance and mentoring to plant staff on all financial aspects. Lead the plant/corporate Enabler (cost savings) programs.Job Specifications:Education:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.Experience:5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/plant environment, specifically in Cost Accounting.Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office 365 preferred.Professional Qualifications:Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar are preferred.Skills:Strong ability to partner with all levels of the organization.Data analytics capabilities.Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations required.
