We are seeking a full-time, Administrative Assistant for our client in Pueblo, CO.


The selected candidate will provide records management and word processing support to the Mission Operations Department at Pueblo Chemical Depot (PCD). The following are typical duties:

  • Prepare memos and letters for signature by Commander to State and other agencies.
  • Coordinate meetings and take meeting minutes.
  • Scan and upload of documents.
  • Maintain office Outlook calendar and set up Teams meetings.
  • Maintain office Share Point website.
  • Receive phone calls for department as needed.
  • Submit help tickets for computer equipment and track the status of these tickets for completion.
  • Maintain Excel databases; prepare regular and special request reports from the database.
  • Create PowerPoint slides and brief to senior leadership.
  • Co-facilitate office inventory and turning in of no longer needed office furniture / equipment
  • Implement typical administrative duties as requested.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant, preferably at a client site or in support to a federal government agency. 5+ years of relevant work experience is preferred.

  • This position requires you to be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Experience in environmental permitting support is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Share Point.
  • Excellent writing skills.

Work Environment
The work environment of this position is that of a typical office position.
  • Minimal lifting required.
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel between buildings onsite to accomplish daily tasks.
  • May be required to work at a computer for extended periods of time.

The Salary Range for this position is $19.00/hour - $25.00/hour.
