Administrative Assistant - Dietrick

Job Description

Provides administrative support for the assistant director of Dietrick, the Dietrick unit managers and management team, and all management staff during summer conferences. Duties include receiving visitors and employees; answering phones and message delivery; scheduling meetings; maintaining office supplies; processing mail; copying; processing of administrative documents; file establishment and maintenance; and handling and maintaining confidential personnel files. Processing salary leave reports, wage payroll, and files; reconciling of student wage time and non-student time in TimeClock Plus, and oversees processing of student wage payroll. Supervises Cash Office Specialist and all cashiers. Maintains bulletin boards and pleasant office appearance.

Required Qualifications

Previous supervision experience; administrative assistant experience with evidence of processing complex reports, spreadsheets, invoices, cash office administration, payroll/leave administration, handling confidential material, and confidential file maintenance. Knowledge of standard office communications and procedures. Strong bookkeeping and word processing skills with emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of computers including Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and automated accounting and payroll systems. Experience in a food service operation desired.
