Our Wealth Management team is seeking an Administrative Manager to work closely with the Market Managers on administrative issues and supervision of support staff. This role requires a strong collaborator with a positive attitude that works well with people. We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, and team-oriented, and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the Market Managers on administrative tasks such as onboarding, training completion, state registrations, market communications, meeting planning
  • Coach, train, and develop support staff on administrative policies, procedures, and risk management
  • Create and manage performance metrics, analysis, reporting, and incentive programs
  • Conduct performance reviews, scheduling, time clock management, vacation, and backup coverage
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop market support staff
  • Implement and enforce service excellence standards and best practices for increasing client experience
  • Research information and provide solutions for escalated issues
  • Manage branch facilities with a focus on cost management to enhance profitability
  • Proactively find ways to improve processes and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned

Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years of industry and supervisory experience
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses
  • Strong knowledge of operational systems and processes
  • Ability to listen and explain complex subjects in simpler terms
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, and quickly develop a full understanding of the business

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $70,000-$90,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance. At Wedbush, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
