SMC is seeking qualified candidates for Temporary Administrative Staff Assistant to provide administrative support for Court Administration and members of the Executive Leadership Team. The Administrative Staff Assistant will execute their duties, tasks, and special project assignments. This role encompasses organizational and administrative functions. To be successful in this position, you must be passionate about customer service, eager to learn and solve problems under pressure, have high professional standards, and have excellent attention to detail. This role requires you to be a self-starter who can work independently and be a collaborative team player.
This assignment is anticipated for 12 months with possible extension.
YOU WILL BE MOST SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION IF YOU:
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: One (1) year of experience in administrative analysis, budget administration or preparation, office management, personnel administration, program administration, as staff assistant, or in a closely related field, AND
bachelor's degree in business or public administration, another closely related field, OR two (2) additional years of relevant experience.

The normal work week is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.
Alternative schedules may be considered and will be based on operational needs.
Work Location:
Onsite work will take place at Seattle Municipal Court, 600 5th Ave.
Pay The full hourly pay range for this position is $35.05 to $40.86 per hour.
