Summary: The Administrator will administer all aspects of recruiting, on-boarding, training and evaluating the Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) site reviewer teams comprised of more than 100 volunteer physicians across all three cancer accreditation programs. This position also manages the volunteer committee that oversee these processes.

This exempt position will report to the Senior Manager, Cancer Accreditation in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy strategies to recruit site reviewers including development of the criteria and applications, identifying markets for recruitment, developing appropriate messaging to solicit interest, evaluating applications, and coordinating the interview and selection process.


  • Develop and maintain the on-boarding curriculum for new site reviewers, and manage the mentor program to support new site reviewers in the field.
  • Develop content for the annual training program for the site reviewer teams to address changes in operations, interpretation of the standards, and address best practices for successful preparation, conduct, and post site visit activity and expectations. Develop content for quarterly town hall calls for site reviewer teams to address issues and share best practices.


  • Develop and maintain the post-survey evaluation tool completed by programs following the site visit. Identify, gather and analyze data sources to evaluate performance and prepare quarterly reports for site reviewers and relevant committees to assess performance. Develop a corrective action plan to address under-performing site reviewers.

Required Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, or development of educational or training materials is preferred. Healthcare or accreditation experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) necessary to effectively interact with all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
