The Role:
The Chicago office is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrator to work directly with a Managing Director/Board Member. This candidate will be a resourceful, innovative, proactive candidate with an ability to assist in the business needs of the Managing Director.
Primary responsibilities include:

Coordinate the timing of client projects working with internal managers and staff along with client personnel.

Facilitate billing and collections including coordination with managers and clients.

Assist with new client opportunities including background research, follow-up, collecting information, and meetings.

Assist the Managing Director with identification of low recovery engagements and work with the engagement team to create efficiencies.

Work with managers to prepare and timely send job engagement letters to clients defining work and interim billing.

Track the timing of projects related to the Managing Director’s board and other firm responsibilities.

General administrative support, including scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, expense reimbursement, and preparing databases to track information;
The Requirements:
- 5+ years administrative experience, preferably in a professional services environment;

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

Solid communication and interpersonal skills;

Ability to draft communications;

Strong writing skills;

Professional demeanor;

Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast- paced, high-pressure environment;

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
