Description
As part of the EF Academy Admissions (Pasadena) team, this role involves implementing key marketing strategies to drive inquiries about the school, increasing enrollments, and building brand awareness locally, nationally and globally. The role entails positioning the school as a thought leader in the community through hosted events, earned media and speaking opportunities. The role ensures that the school has an outreach program that widens the school’s network, positive relationships, and reputation with the community.
The Admissions Coordinator will be the in-person face of EF Academy Pasadena and will provide campus tours, speak generally about our academic and extra-curricular programs, and ultimately connect families with the US Senior Admissions Consultant to go through the Admissions Journey to enrollment. This role will also build and manage relationships with feeder schools and travel throughout California and the western United States to recruit EF Academy students.
Responsibilities

Generate leads and work with families through the Admissions Journey

Collaborate with the US Admissions team to develop and launch local and national marketing campaigns that builds the pipeline such as the following but not limited to:

Research and determine publications and platforms where EF Academy Pasadena should advertise. Work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Communications Manager to develop advertisements to position us against our competitor schools to recruit local day/boarding students

Monitoring competitor market activity

Develop and maintain relationships with key account holders including media, relocation agents, realtors, local government, feeder schools (nearby k-8, middle schools)

Plan and host events for community exposure and outreach such as Open Houses, Realtor Brunches, Information Sessions, Campus Tours

Build and manage external marketing relationships
-
Travel and recruit students from areas around California and the Western United States

Assist in planning Admissions events from a marketing perspective

Work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Communications Manager to create and/or source content for social media and other marketing initiatives, specifically:

IG: Pasadena-specific stories, posts
-
FB: Pasadena-specific messages, posts; respond to inquiries, send leads to appropriate markets
-
Alert Central Marketing team of key events and activities from the overall school calendar and cover opportunities
-
Update school profiles on portals (Niche, Boarding School Review) annually (with Central Marketing)

Request and collect student/family reviews for online portals and platforms
Qualifications/Training
Experience/Knowledge/Skills (preferred)
-
1-3 years of Academic Admissions/Sales experience
-
Prior work at a private/for-profit school in an admissions role
-
Experience in working with a CRM
-
Experience using digital and social media trends and tools to influence the sales life cycle
-
Understanding of California high school curriculum and requirements to graduate
-
Some experience or background working with marketing and rolling out a marketing strategy that entails advertising and press releases to build lead generation

Knowledge of the Los Angeles/Southern California area
