Marketing and Business Development Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies designed to promote the full spectrum of products, which includes portable and groundwater projects, pumping systems, and desalination technologies.
  • Implement targeted marketing campaigns that emphasize specific applications such as irrigation, stormwater management, firefighting systems, and pumping solutions for the food and beverage industry.
  • Oversee and allocate the marketing budget to optimize return on investment for both project and retail sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify profitable project and retail sales opportunities, devising tailored strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and industry partners to discover and exploit new business opportunities.
  • Plan and participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s products and services, generate leads, and enhance industry relations.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis across all product categories, including borehole applications, reverse osmosis and desalination pumps, sewage treatment systems, and advanced engineering products.
  • Leverage research insights to refine sales strategies, pinpoint emerging trends, and explore potential new markets.
  • Lead and coordinate collaborative efforts among marketing, sales, product development, and customer support teams to ensure uniform messaging and effective implementation of initiatives.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality marketing materials (such as presentations, brochures, and proposals) that clearly communicate the unique advantages of the company’s solutions.
  • Track and assess campaign performance metrics, sales data, and market feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and business development strategies.
  • Utilize data insights to enhance ongoing campaigns, report results, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the entire product portfolio, including submersible borehole pumps, valves, fittings, and electromechanical accessories, to effectively communicate product benefits to clients and partners.
  • Keep updated on advancements in engineering, product technologies, and best practices to continually improve the company's offerings and engagement with customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master's degree is preferred).
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing and business development, showcasing a successful history of driving growth and enhancing market share (experience in the water sector is preferred).
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies.
  • A strong foundation in relationship management, with a proven ability to establish partnerships and engage clients effectively.
