Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Formulate and execute strategies for sales, marketing, and business development that are in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Establish clear targets for the team with the goal of boosting revenue and strengthening market visibility.
  • Recognize new market opportunities and evaluate the viability of market expansion.
  • Supervise the creation of sales plans, guiding the team to achieve or surpass revenue goals.
  • Track sales performance, assess outcomes, and communicate updates to the CEO and executive team.
  • Ensure effective management of the sales pipeline and client follow-up procedures to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Keep an eye on market trends, technological developments, and competitive activities to pinpoint potential growth opportunities.
  • Craft detailed market entry strategies for new territories or product lines.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and brand positioning initiatives, along with competitor analysis.
  • Establish and foster strategic collaborations and alliances to promote business growth.
  • Lead critical negotiations to achieve advantageous terms and lasting partnerships.
  • Identify and suggest innovative business initiatives, projects, and joint ventures to broaden the company's offerings.
  • Guide and mentor a team of professionals in sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Cultivate a high-performance environment centered on teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Offer training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Respond swiftly to client needs to ensure high satisfaction levels and loyalty.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase the organization’s expertise.
  • Prepare and oversee the sales and marketing budget to ensure effective cost management and high returns on investment for initiatives.
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and strategic planning activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Technical Support, Operations, and Product Development teams to guarantee smooth service delivery.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to the product development team.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing, and business development activities and prepare regular reports for the CEO and board of directors.
  • Lead digital transformation within sales and marketing, including the integration of tools for improved customer engagement.
  • Utilize data analytics to refine sales processes and enhance decision-making.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a comparable discipline is required; a Master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in leadership roles related to sales, marketing, and business development, ideally in the water and wastewater industries, is needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain partnerships with clients from both the private and public sectors.
