Senior Product Manager - Water Solutions

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Establish product roadmaps and strategies for essential applications, such as groundwater initiatives, reverse osmosis (RO) and desalination facilities, sewage treatment systems, firefighting apparatus, and operation and maintenance solutions.
  • Supervise the product lifecycle from the initial concept to launch, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and market dynamics.
  • Track and evaluate product performance, gather customer feedback, and assess the competitive landscape to guide product improvements and innovations.
  • Direct technical marketing initiatives for international partners, clearly communicating the technical benefits of the company’s products and crafting customized marketing strategies for each partner.
  • Maintain relationships with overseas partners, facilitating visits, presentations, and technical demonstrations to strengthen partner involvement and support.
  • Represent the company during partner meetings and industry events, showcasing product innovations, technical strengths, and customer success narratives.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure products are adequately supported, technically robust, and in sync with the broader company strategy.
  • Offer technical guidance to the sales team about product details, aiding in both project and retail sales by providing them with accurate product knowledge.
  • Work with the marketing team to create high-quality product collateral (e.g., brochures, presentations, and white papers) that effectively convey product advantages and specifications.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to grasp customer preferences, upcoming trends, and opportunities in sectors like stormwater management, irrigation, and food and beverage pumping.
  • Utilize research insights to guide product development, enhance positioning, and identify potential new product opportunities.
  • Facilitate technical training sessions for sales and support teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and comprehension of product functionalities, particularly for advanced applications such as submersible borehole motors, UL/FM fire pumps, and sewage pumps.
  • Assist with product demonstrations and technical onboarding for both internal teams and clients, improving their technical understanding and confidence in the company’s offerings.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a comparable field) is essential; a Master’s degree in Engineering or Business is a plus.
  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in product management in the water solutions, pump systems, or engineering product sectors is necessary.
  • Demonstrated skills in technical marketing, partner relationship management, and product lifecycle management are required.
  • A strong background in collaborating with international partners and overseeing complex product lines for both project-based and retail sales is preferred.
