Opportunity at a Glance
We are interested in developing long-term relationships with superior instructors who have high professional standards, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing the finest practitioner-focused education. We are seeking primarily Industry Professionals to share their knowledge and experience with undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of fields. Courses meet once or twice a week for eight weeks. The face-to-face interaction is blended with technology (such as online discussions and online assignments) for an enhanced learning environment. Commitment is on a course by course basis.
Course of instruction may include:
NR-545: Pharmacology, Physical Assessment, and Pathophysiology Nurse Practitioner graduate placement - This graduate placement, transitional study course provides a synthesis of pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment principles for aspiring graduate nurse practitioner students. Select pathophysiologic processes of disease will be explored, including physical assessment components and pharmacological treatment. The minimum requirement to pass this course is 76 percent; grade of "C." The final grade earned in this course is not used in GPA calculations and credit hours earned are not applicable to credit hours required for graduation. Eligibility to enroll in the course is based on placement results.

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Online:
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
