Advanced Agrilytics is seeking a Commercial Product Manager to join our Commercial Team. The Commercial Product Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and management of Advanced Agrilytics products or services. This role involves understanding market trends, identifying customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring successful Advanced Agrilytics products to market. The Commercial Product Manager is tasked with optimizing our product's performance and ensuring its alignment with the organization's goals and the agricultural industry.
Our successful Commercial Product Manager will play a vital role in driving innovation, productivity, and sustainability in the industry. They work closely with growers, researchers, engineers, and business leaders to develop and manage products that meet the evolving needs of the agricultural community.
This role may require travel to agricultural sites, trade shows, and customer locations for market research and product-related activities.

Skills you bring to the team: - Develop and communicate a clear product strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives in the agriculture sector
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitors to inform product development and enhancements
- Collaborate with engineering, agronomy, marketing and research teams to design and develop agricultural products that address market needs and are technologically advanced
- Create and maintain a product roadmap outlining key milestones, feature releases, and product enhancements, ensuring products remain competitive and valuable
- Plan and execute successful product launches, including developing marketing strategies and coordinating with sales teams for product adoption
- Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, collecting user feedback and data to make data-driven improvements and adjustments
- Manage the budget and financial aspects related to the product, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasting
- Maintain open and effective communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers to gather insights, address concerns, and drive product success
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact product development and success
Experience you bring:- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in the agriculture industry
- In-depth knowledge of agricultural practices, technology, and market trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management and product development methodologies
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and lead with influence
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in the agriculture sector
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
