· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
· Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience with one or more hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure). Proficiency in managing and deploying services on these platforms is essential.
· Extensive experience in a Technical Account Manager (TAM) role or a similar customer-facing position. Proven ability to manage customer relationships, understand their needs, and align technology solutions with business objectives.
· Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including network design, security, and best practices for operational excellence. Capable of advising on and implementing robust cloud solutions.
· Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a proven track record of resolving complex technical issues swiftly and effectively. Ability to think innovatively and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
· Experience in managing and developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
· Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, Perl, or similar. Ability to automate operational tasks and enhance cloud management through scripting.
· Deep understanding and experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
· Proficient in managing cloud operations and leading operational teams. Strong background in operational roles involving change management, incident management, and problem management, with leadership capabilities.
· ITIL certification is a plus, indicating familiarity with IT service management best practices.
· Relevant cloud certifications (Administrator, Architect) from hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure) are highly desirable.
· Proven ability to engage with customers at a senior level, understand their technical needs, and provide tailored solutions. Experience acting as a customer advocate and ensuring their operational success.
· Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive customer satisfaction. Demonstrable experience in successfully deploying and managing cloud services for clients.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
· A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and staying current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies. Willingness to adapt to new tools, technologies, and customer needs.
· Knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining security best practices within cloud environments, including compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment. Demonstrates a high level of detail orientation.
· Proven track record of building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud environments to meet customer needs.
· Proven leadership abilities in managing and directing cloud operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery and operational success.
· Extensive experience in managing, upgrading, and implementing various operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows Server. Familiarity with their administration and security practices.
· Solid understanding and practical experience with structured data formats such as JSON, YAML, and XML. Ability to utilize these formats in configuration and automation tasks.
