Job Description

AECOM has a multidisciplinary team working with Data Centre clients across both Hyperscale and Colocation and Enterprise projects across Western Europe.

This job opening focusses on the German Market, seeking someone with a strong Design Management background in the local DC sector.

This will require deep engagement to materialize and to ensure and timely delivery, meeting the recurring clients’ deadlines, budget and requirements.

The design manager identifies the right level and capability of resources to be deployed on the project. It is the design managers responsibility to ensure the right level of bidding and pricing of new opportunities ensuring they are delivered as sold fees and margins. Thus, implying Project Management capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design Management in a high paced project environment in the German market
  • Covering multidisciplinary cross regional teams of CSA & MEP
  • Assisting bids commercially and technically for multi-disciplinary opportunities with key clients
  • Ensuring all internal as well as local regulatory governance is followed: both at bid stage and throughout the delivery of projects

Qualifications

  • Senior multidisc Design Manager with MEP, alternatively Architectural background
  • DC Experience in accountable DM position
  • Proficient in contractual German and English
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
