Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced environmental database manager for employment in our Austin, TX office. The position will support the Environmental business line, becoming integrated member of AECOM’s West Remediation practice.

Experienced environmental database manager to:

  • Familiar with environmental database systems (including EQuIS) and project digital workflow management
  • Manage and/or direct junior professional and technical staff.
  • Coordinate with project team members for environmental sampling event planning, electronic field data collection, laboratory data management and production of data products (tables, graphics, maps, statistical analysis).
  • Interface with laboratories and internal project teams.
  • Generate and/or review electronic data deliverables of analytical data and/or field information.
  • Maintain/Ensure work quality, quantity, and efficiency to meet project and data quality objectives.
  • Be responsible for timeliness and accuracy of data workflow and products.

 

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • BS/BA in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or other related area and 8 plus years of experience and or/demonstrated equivalency of education and experience
    • US citizenship is required
    • Must be able to pas background check 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Skills/Experience:

    • 10 years of experience managing and/or generating environmental sampling and observation data.
    • Environmental field or laboratory experience preferred.
    • Experience with current environmental data management systems, EQuIS (required), including but not limited to SPM, Collect, Enterprise and Professional.
    • ERPIMS
    • Experience with SQL
    • R Programming Suite and statistic experience.
