AECOM Canada is hiring a Program Lead, Interim Infrastructure - Airport Project.
We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
Major Responsibilities:
Overseeing the delivery of Interim Infrastructure, including the construction of the Interim Terminal and Hard Stands, ensuring alignment with scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk requirements.
Leading the sub-program team to foster a cohesive and high-performing unit.
Managing stakeholder relationships—both internal and external—while collaborating closely with the stakeholder relations team.
Implementing and enforcing the sub-program’s governance and execution plan throughout its lifecycle.
Providing consolidated performance reports to the Program Director and presenting progress updates in regular forums.
Ensuring contractor compliance with contractual obligations to achieve successful delivery within defined scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk parameters.
Identifying, managing, and escalating change decisions while coordinating with PMO Services to streamline the change process.
Leading monthly sub-program progress reviews and reporting on key performance metrics to the Program Director.
Identifying resourcing needs and coordinating with PMO Services and Technical Shared Services teams to address them.
Issuing monthly progress reports and maintaining up-to-date PMIS progress and performance dashboards.
Collaborating with the Program Director and other Program Leads to support the successful execution of the overall Accelerator Program.
Minimum Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years of leadership experience in program management.
Proven expertise in delivering complex programs through strong program management and technical knowledge.
Extensive experience in leading teams to successfully execute complex projects and programs.
Strong technical proficiency across all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, with a preference for large-scale programs.
Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and provide strategic-level reporting to support informed decision-making.
Experienced in collaborative project environments with in-depth knowledge of progressive contracting models such as Progressive Design-Build and Target Price.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings and workshops involving diverse stakeholder groups.
This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
