Job Title: Quality ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and skilled Quality Manager to oversee our quality department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing 2-3 quality inspectors and performing various inspection operations. These include incoming, set-up, in-process, and final inspection of machined parts per inspection plan requirements. The Quality Manager will also provide support to change management and MRB programs as needed, perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on initial production of new parts, assemble necessary inspection documents for shipments, identify and segregate discrepant parts, and maintain archival of inspection records. Furthermore, the candidate will be required to identify improvements to processes to enhance quality, reduce cost, and increase productivity, operate and program CMM inspections, select and use appropriate handheld gages for part feature inspection, and maintain part and lot traceability information throughout the inspection process.Hard Skills• Quality management• Documentation• Calipers usage• First Article Inspection (FAI)• Change management• MRB programs• CMM inspection programming and operationSoft Skills• Diligence• Management skills• Problem-solving• Continuous improvement mindsetJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Blaine, Minnesota.Work EnvironmentThe successful candidate will work in a clean shop environment, specifically in the quality lab adjacent to the machining floor.
